The Smallest Automatic Dishwasher Ever? Possible? Or Necessary?
In the realm of new home appliances, I have to admit that the Bosch Instant Dishwasher is smart; smart as in stylish and smart as in design and technology. But smart as in energy savings? Or smart as in necessary? No. C'mon! A one person, one meal dishwasher?

Here are the possibilities the rack affords...

Oh well, for the laziest person in the world I suppose it would simplify their lifestyle. But design wise, it's a winner. Industrial designer Robert Lange collaborated with Bosch to create the sleek table top dishwasher, which is afforded with an up and down shaft so that the rack in the washer can be pulled up above the counter for filling. Filling the dishwasher should not be an effort, as again, only a few dishes and glasses make it full.

When the lid is closed, you can press a button and the Instant Dishwasher does the rest. Space economy is very efficient.

Personally, I would like to use this design as a dish rack to air dry dishes that I wash by hand, particularly if I lived alone. Anyone can hand wash two dishes and a glass, and a below-sink air dryer would certainly save space and add some class!
