Subaye Launches China's First 3D Online Mall
What's eBay in Chinese? It just might be Subaye, the company behind the country's first 3D online mall. No glasses are required but you might want to have your wallet handy.
Subaye, Inc. (Nasdaq: SBAY) is a video advertising and entertainment media provider based in China's Guangdong province with customers in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Members pay the equivalent of $117 per month for the right display their products and services online at one of the Subaye Alliance network websites and these presentations are now much more attractive thanks to Subaye's highly anticipated 3D-imaged web-shopping mall, the first of its kind in China.
Customers will be able to use the 3D website for free until January 31, 2011. After that date, Subaye plans to charge a 3% transaction fee for all sales of products and services sold at its online 3D mall. The combination of groundbreaking technology and revenue streams from both buyers and sellers would seem to be a winning one – just ask eBay. (via StreetInsider and B-NET)
