Toepener Lets You Avoid The Bathroom Door Handle

I don’t know about you, but I despise using public washrooms.  Some are definitely worse than others, but even when they look relatively clean I am pretty sure that they are not.  I especially hate that after I have thoroughly washed my hands I then have to grab the bathroom door handle to get out.  It makes me cringe thinking about all of the non-hand-washers who have touched it, leaving behind who knows what.

There are times when I remember to take a piece of paper towel to grab the handle with.  Other times I resort to pulling my sleeve down over my hand.  It would be nice if there was an easier way though.  Well, apparently someone else has been giving a lot of thought to this issue. 

The Toepener is a handle that fastens to the bottom of a door and allows people to open the door with their feet.  What a great and simple solution!  I hope that these catch on quickly and we see them in public restrooms all over very soon.
