Created
by screenwriter Christos N. Gage (Law & Order: SVU, Deadshot),
PARADOX introduces homicide detective Sean Nault, a cop on a parallel
Earth whose technology is powered exclusively by magic. Sean
investigates a baffling series of murders committed by a means he’s
never seen before: the power of science. With the aid of Lenoir – a
member of the ridiculed subculture of “pragmatists” who believe science
is more than the stuff of myths and children’s stories – and the 130
year old sorcerer Winston Churchill, Sean uncovers an apocalyptic plot
that will lead him to another dimension – ours – and the realization
that, unless he prevents it, both earths could well be destroyed. (

Shades of Grey
I am not going to comment on the titles selected for your top ten but only want to mention that the Kindle 2 and Kindle DX are black and white displays and your picture of a Kindle DX with a color cover of Crude Behavior is a Photoshopped effect and not a true image of what users can expect. The Kindle website has the following to say about their edition of Crude Behavior:
"CRUDE BEHAVIOR is one of the first books to expose the current geo-political scene in vibrant color (or in this Kindle edition's case, is 16 slick shades of gray)."

Shades of Grey response
The images in this blog are for effect only. Like Amazon, I included color art of each book represented here. All the promos in the Kindle library on Amazon do the same. The disclaimer in the blog copy above and the previous comment referring to "16 shades of grey" is absolutely correct. Presently there is no eReader (Kindle or otherwise) that provides color graphics.
