Treadwall Hopes To Climb To The Top

If you thought the exercise machines at the gym looked intimidating, then think again as there’s a new product based on mountain climbing and treadmills.

Despite the friendly pictures on the company’s website, the Treadwall looks like a serious challenge when it comes to workouts. The rotating climbing wall incorporates “auto-stop technology for self-paced, motor-less climbing with adjustable angles and holds”.

Even though it sounds tough, the company insists the product is very safe and effective, which is probably true. Instead of having you extremely high in the air like most climbing walls, the Treadwall makes sure climbers are never 1-2 feet off the ground. Since you’re at a pretty safe height, there’s no need for harnesses or any other sort of equipment. You just stretch, hop on and climb!

The Treadwall is also extremely simple to use. Climbers can adjust their rate of ascent and climbing angle with a twist of knob or turn of a wheel. Since the fitness machine stops and goes as you climb, you barely need any experience.

Mountain climbing is recognized as a great cardio activity which is perfect for individuals of all ages. Whether you’re looking to lose weight or just have fun, the Treadwall can help your exercise habits out by giving you a challenging workout you control.
