Twilight Zone's Talky Tina Now Stalks The Internet, Tempting You To Buy

Classic "Twilight Zone" episode character and creepy doll "Talky Tina" returns from the netherworld and is now available for pre-order online.

It was an episode that scarred many viewers of the Twilight Zone for life. Talky Tina, the innocent-looking little girl's doll and precursor to all things Chucky comes into the home of one Erich (played by Telly Savalas) and his daughter, Christie. Christie's mother, Annabelle, purchased the doll for her daughter without the consent of her husband and Christie's stepfather, Erich, and Erich wants the doll to go.

Initially, the doll begins by telling Chrisite, "My name is Talky Tina and I love you very much!" Left alone with Erich, the doll changes its tune and begins telling him that it hates him and he believes that it is a trick by his wife and attempts to get rid of it. After a series of ill-conceived attempts to destroy it he returns the doill to Christie only to trip over it on the stairs in the night and fall to his death. The final line in the episode comes when Talky Tina tells Annabelle - "My name is Talky Tina...any you better be nice to me!"

Now, television and scare-lovers can once again relive the fear of having a creepy as hell talking doll around, this time in their very own home. An exclusive from Entertainment Earth, the doll will be $140 dollars when it ships in July 2011 and will say all of the classic catchphrases that made Tina so memorable. Modeled on the original plans for the doll, this isn't something you'd want to give a child or anyone you really like all that much.

For fans of the show, we encourage the purchase of such a piece of memorabilia. As for us, we think keeping the number of "I'm going to kill you" dolls in the house down around zero is a good idea.
