Tattoos take many shapes and forms, but a neat tattoo was recently posted on Flickr, following an embroidery pattern in tribute to an important family member, and it certainly works like a piece of embroidered art!

The tattoo photos, posted by Glitch-Vixen show off her tattoo which was modeled after an embroidery piece created by her grandmother, in tribute. The tattoo almost looks like a needle and thread has been literally taken to her back in order to create the design, and it only varies from its original pattern with the incorporation of some different colors. The best tattoos are the ones that come attached with some serious sentimental value as well as beautiful artwork, and this tattoo certainly checks all the boxes!

Lovely tribute
Submitted on October 25th, 2009 by AnonymousObviously, family really means something to her, and she's gotten new art to commemmorate old art to honor her loved one. A thousand times more meaningful than another heart with a name in it. And the shading to make it look 3-d is top-notch. I'm impressed.
Great tattoo!
