USB Hairbrush Humidifies Hair, Boosts Geek Cred

Even geeks know good grooming is the key to success in today's world, and the USB Hairbrush from Japan's Thanko is just about the geekiest grooming aid in town. You can bet the late Steve Jobs would have used one if he had hair to brush.

Here's how it works. Plug one end of the included USB connecting cable into the brush handle and plug the other end into your laptop computer or desktop PC's microUSB port. After about 2.5 hours, the brush's internal built-in battery is fully charged.

Next, remove the hairbrush's 15ml internal tank, fill it with dihydrogen monoxide (also known as “water”), and replace the tank back into the brush's head. Flick the ON switch and start brushing... wasn't that easy?

On a full charge, the brush can spray vaporized moisture for up to 30 minutes. That's more than enough time to tame even the worst case of bed-head in the driest weather.

Thanko's humidifying USB hairbrush is also ideal for brushing your pets since moistened dog or cat hair won't fly off into the air or be infused with static electricity. Fido or Fifi will love it too because the fine mist helps loosen matted hair while easing the brush bristles' path through their coats.

You'll find the USB Hairbrush at the Thanko online store site priced at 2,980 yen (about $36.50) each. Don't delay, buy yours today!
