U-Turn Digital Camera: A Super-Duper Special Effects Cam for Kids with a Twist

Slated for release sometime this spring, the U-Turn Digital Camera from Digital Blue, is sure to be a great big hit with kids. The U-Turn was unveiled at the recent 2009 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas and created quite the buzz.

This is not your average, run-of-the-mill kids' camera.  Small enough to fit in your hand, the 2.4 inch LCD viewer actually swivels up to 180 degrees so kids can see their image from a bunch of different angles.  The camera can store up to 80 photographs at a time. But what makes this little camera even more special is an awesomely cool morphing feature.  By simply pushing a button, users can squish, stretch, swirl and morph their captured images.  How cool is that?  My digital camera doesn't even do that!

The camera is expected to launch sometime this spring with a retail price of just under $50.
