In fashion, the placement of pockets can make a statement, but typically, pockets aren't a focal point of a piece of clothing. If anything, they're just there for storage. That is, until now, according to a preview for a fashion line.

Valentino just previewed what may be a new trend, or at least a bold fashion statement for the upcoming seasons. Pockets on their pants appear in pretty ordinary locations, so it's a different element that makes them add some variety. The pockets on these pants are completely sheer, which will certainly make a fashion statement and also make it so that there's no privacy when you put things in them, but that's a sacrifice you'll have to make.
