Want Leafy Vines Instead of Miles Of Electrical Cords?

If there is one thing that our explosion of technology has given us is miles of electrical cords that crawl all over the house like a colony of demented octopi. You can try to hide them. I've thought of braiding them into a decorative design but I think that a new company called ElectroVine has the right idea. They have created a 6-foot extension cord that looks like a nice green vine of ivy.

It gives a whole new look to going green. Okay, this vine is not designed to save you any electricity, but it may help save your sanity. The green colored cord comes with an array of ivy leaves that can be moved around the way you want them.

In addition to the leafy coverage this is also a grounded extension cord that is NOT that hideous orange color that we have all come to know and loathe. If there is one thing worse than extension cords all over the place it is having ORANGE cords. This cord is for both indoor and outdoor use and can be decorative wherever it is used.

The company is seeking funding on Kickstarter and there are only a few hours to go. They still need more people to come forward and help them reach their target. I think this is a really cool idea, even if it does look like Home Depot and Michael's had an illicit love child.
