Want This New Invention? Light Up Your Bag

Get your purse, backpack, or briefcase packed up -- it's time to glow! The Kangaroo Light is a fun, flexible, and portable light that you can carry around to illuminate the depths of your life -- and other places. It can be a night light in the hotel on a business trip, or a bit of mood lighting for that spontaneous evening picnic with your favorite guy or gal.

Having a Kangaroo Light in your bag can help you find things in that dark but in a more timely manner so that you can stay on top of things. Beyond that you've got to think outside the bag. . .

You can have night lights, mood lighting, light for camping, light for emergencies, and a reading light. For those who craft, you can have a light that lights up your latest project. You will no longer have a reason to sit and curse the darkness. For me, I just think it would just be a blast to play with, but I am easilly distracted by shiny objects.

The Kangaroo Light has a flexible white soft touch, splash proof finish. It holds 24 built-in LED lights which emit a soft and pleasant glow on one side. Its Lithium-Ion battery offers two and a half hours of non-stop light and is rechargeable through a USB Port.

A built in accelerometer enables different types of interaction and mesmerizing light modes (on, off, flicker, change intensity, pulsing, etc.), turning it into a playful gadget to entertain you when nothing else is going on.

This foldable, packable light has been designed by Studio Banana Things, "a multidisciplinary, dynamic and young international team of designers, architects, geeks, dreamers, keen observers and ambitious guys and girls who have a passion for creativity."

You can't run out and buy this light at a store or even buy it online.  The only place to find the Kangaroo Light right now is on Kickstarter. The designers are seeking £50,000 in funding to put the light into production. By pledging a donation you can be among the first to get one.

The Studio Banana Things crew has successfully completed two Kickstarter campaigns sin the past. They are best known for the Ostrich Pillow and have also created the Ostrick Pillow Light.

So let's get up and get glowing! Shine on!
