Want Truly Unique Bandages For Your Medicine Cabinet? Boo Boos Truly Fit The Bill

If you have small children at home, chances are you have a good supply of cartoon-covered bandages stocked up in your bathroom medicine chest. But what happens when your kids get older? There comes a point when Kermit the Frog or Disney Princesses just aren't going to cut it anymore. For girls a nice invisible bandage will do. When it comes to the newly testosterone-fueled boys you need something more masculine. These Boo Boo Bandages are just the thing with images to make their cuts and scrapes look much worse.

These adhesive bandages are not for the faint of heart for they make it look like a simple cat scratch is really an acid burn, skin ulcers, or a small gunshot wound. There are five different bloody and disgusting wounds to cover your paper cut so that you look like a real survivor. Other than that they are the same sterile adhesive bandages you have used all of your life.

The bandages were designed by Sherwood Forlee, a young man with a degree in mechanical and aerospace engineering. He was born in Hong Kong, raised in Zimbabwe, and now lives in Oakland, California. His ultimate dream is to "eventually open his own bread and nut butter shoppe replete with a staff of well-trained squirrels to operate the grinding machines."

Forlee is seeking funding for this project on Kickstarter. Oddly, the only way you can purchase these gross bandages is to get them as a reward for funding the campaign. There are no plans to produce them beyond the campaign. So if these bandages are something you really want you'd better get going. There are only 18 days left.

It seems that in addition to grossing out the people around you when you hurt yourself when your stapler backfires, you could also use these to good effect for Halloween. Sadly, they are only available in one skin color, so they really only work well on white people -- well, white people without much of a tan.

Perhaps, if this campaign goes well, someone will buy up this idea and bring it to the mass market. There must be enough people with an unusual sense of humor to make this successful.
