Microsoft celebrated the launch of their highly anticipated
Windows 7 operating system worldwide with a smorgasbord of offbeat promotions, but nothing could top Burger King's 7-patty Windows 7 Whopper in Japan. DO have a cow, man!

Microsoft's promotion department went all out to make sure the October 22, 2009 launch of Windows 7 was a worldwide exercise in WIN. Giving away free copies of Windows 7 to every resident of the Dutch village of Zevenhuizen ("Seven Houses")? Sweet. Painting the town of Sietes ("Seven"), Spain, in official Windows colors? Very tasteful. Selling humongous, 7-patty Whoppers at Japanese Burger King outlets for 777 yen each for 7 days? Delicious!

This whopper of a Whopper is more fit for a sumo wrestler than the average Joe, and I do hesitate to use the word "fit". Regardless, Burger King Japan has partnered up with Microsoft to sell these beefiest of burgers for the next 7 days. Just get to the store early: only the first 30 customers of the day pay 777 yen (about $8.50), after that the price goes up to 1,450 yen (around $15.95) each.
The
Inquisitr has come up with a good way to have your Windows 7 Whopper and eat it too:
"Bring your own bread and make 7 burgers for the price of three or four."

The sad thing is you could
The sad thing is you could make it in the US by buying 4 Double Cheeseburgers for a dollar each, and throw out the extra buns.
AND you'd add up with an extra patty. lol
