Yakuza Curry Plays Games With Your Tastebuds

Gang way for Original Yakuza Curry! The spicy selection comes from Matsuya and is a promotional tie-in to the new PlayStation 3 game "Yakuza 4", released by Sega on March 18th, 2010. You can check out an English-dubbed version of the Yakuza 4 promotional trailer here:





The game's full title is "As Though a Dragon 4: Successor of the Legend", and it follows on the successful series of PlayStation games featuring the Yakuza, Japan's notorious gangsters.





But back to the curry... at 300 yen (about $3.30) per package it's not overly expensive and, in fact, is the same price as the standard curry Matsuya sells through the Japanese chain of Lawson food marts.

Ingredients are the usual meat & potatoes, and preparation is via the familiar boil-in-bag - just what you'd expect from the hard-boiled Yakuza! (via Gigazine)
