A few weeks ago, I wrote about some really neat reusable and recyclable utensils that you can carry with you for those times you're catching lunch on the go. I had yogurt in mind because yogurt is one popular carry-out item that ideally should not be eaten with one's hands.
But designer Cho Hye-seung has a different, even more efficient idea than carrying your own spoon - use the yogurt packaging to spoon the yogurt!
Cho Hye-seung has designed the Yogurt Spoon Package that makes absolutely perfect sense...

... so much sense that it makes you wonder... Yoplait has a big sustainability project going on now; why not a dual role for its yogurt lids?
Sustainability is not just about recycling; it is also about re-using and re-purposing. One package that performs the function of a plate or a spoon or, in the case of a larger item, even a cabinet or drawer... those are ways to continue the life of the package until it's use is exhausted and it is ready to recycle.
