We all know that in today's world you are either a fan of Apple products like the iPod Touch , iPod, or iPhone, and for those people who don't swing Apple's way, you go with Microsoft stuff- most recently the Microsoft Zune. The Zune 80GB is a very popular MP3 player, but it doesn't have near the functionality of the iPhone - so doesn't it make sense that the Zune 3 should be iPhone-like?
It seems like the battle between Microsoft and Apple can be compared to the East coast vs. West coast rap wars from the early 90's - maybe that's a little extreme, but you get my point. So it only makes sense that Microsoft would focus on making the Zune Phone a reality. The only thing that we know for sure is that Microsoft's design team has had discussions about the new design of the Zune, but we don't know exactly what's on their minds.
Photos of what the Zune Phone could look like have surfaced at Zunescene.com. These photos reveal a very "iPhone-like" Zune with a huge touch-screen LCD screen and nice-sized on-screen controls. The Zune 3 may end up looking nothing like the Zune in this photo, but I wouldn't mind if the finished product took on some of the "Zune concept's" appearance. The Zune in the photo looks awesome!

This concept photo is accompanied by some possible specs of the Zune 3, but I don't want to speculate on these numbers just yet. Lets just sit back and wait for Microsoft to work their magic on what could very be the "iPhone" for 2008 - you never know.
