Although there are video games that educate children in every age category, people don't always realize it. While some games have little educational value, like the infamous crime series Grand Theft Auto and the best-selling Halo series, many other games do help children learn. Whether they are throwing kids into the past to learn about the vicious Genghis Khan, handing them the reigns to a city to learn about handling money and budgets, or helping a child discover a new place in the world, video games can be a huge help in educating children today.
