Th!nk Automotive has been working hard to produce an electric car for several years now. After some serious development and experiment time, they have introduced the City and if everything goes well, this could be their first big step into automotive production.

When first introduced back in 2004, the Shelby Supercar (SSC) Ultimate Aero was built to be the fastest production car in the world. It took that title from the Bugatti Veyron in 2007, reaching an average top speed of 256.15mph. Last week, SSC unleashed their plans to achieve the same record, only this time it will be in the electric vehicle category.

Almost since the introduction of the automobile commercial, car companies have been using attractive women in hopes to increase sales. All these years later, not much has changed and BMW has given us a perfect example with a new ad for their certified pre-owned program.

When the Corvette ZR1 hit the Nurburgring a short while back, most people were impressed with the lap time of 7:26.4. General Motors recently released the video of the lap to give the world a taste of what the ZR1 is like on the famous Nurburgring.

The Chevy Volt has been General Motors' centerpiece since the concept was first introduced. The Volt was supposed to be the answer to many peoples' problems with the short distance of traditional Electric Vehicles. However, GM recently went on the record to say that the range would be reduced, and it's not by a few miles.

Using motorcycle engines to power lightweight 2-seater track cars is becoming more popular, and for a good reason. Most of the performance engines offer quite a bit of power for thier small displacement and low weight. Using this and a few other high-tech components, LusoMotors managed to resurrect a legend.

Euro spec vehicles always seem to be built better and offer more than that ones available on this side of the big puddle. This has been a wonderful point to complain about for a long time, but Ford decided to bring that to a halt and offer up something that is right on par with the cars available in Europe.

Saleen has been spilling information about their new "value-oriented" line of performance kits. However, the official word came on the 4th of July in the form of a press release that outlined the new line as well as the first product from the new brand.

Nissan has been very actively researching alternative fuel vehicles for the past few years. One of the promising areas is known as Fuel Cells Vehicles (FCV) and a new concept vehicle called the Effis may be on the road using Nissan's fuel cell technology very soon.
