I am ABSOLUTELY in LOVE with the Time Out Pad. I have an extremely active 2 year old daughter. She is not quite to the age that she comprehends that if she keeps screaming, or getting up (from our previous designated time out area) that a minute is going to get added on to her time.. etc. Before the pad it was battle after battle, not to mention the continuous monitoring while they are in time out. Honestly, as much as I hate to say it, I don't have time to monitor everything. I am not a stay at home mom, I am quite career oriented and like that, however, often times, it does not allow me the time that I need to be able to sit and make sure that my rambunctious toddler is staying where I told her to stay for 2 minutes, especially if I have cooking duties that night. With this time out pad, we have noticed a difference in our daughter like you wouldn't believe. Now, most times, all we have to say is "do you want to go to time out" and she will quite often say "no thank you" and stop what she is doing wrong. Then, if she does have to go to time out, she sits on the pad and that's the end of the story. The buzzer alarm that goes off if they come off the pad scared the bejesus out of her enough to where she makes sure that her little bottom is on that pad for the full duration. I would recommend this pad to anyone anywhere at anytime! (I would look on mamabargains.com, babysteals.com, amazon.com, ect....for a cheaper version though!)
