Some smoke alarm kit already come with a spot light that turn on when the alarm goes off. Still a reasonably good idea, family with children may want to change their traditional switches to this one for peace of mind. Then again how do prevent kids from starting to scream at the switches becouse they know it will turn the light on? that will get frustrating really quickly ;-)
