I'm going to try to write this with a straight face.... The FridaBaby company, which I have just learned of, markets some very inventive and 'curious' products for babies so far. One is called the Snotsucker, which employs a mom (or dad)  to suck the snot out of their baby's nose.... 

Though the default Google Maps software that comes loaded on Apple's iDevices is enough for most people, the company is still looking to replace it with advanced, 3D-accelerated goodness from C3 Technologies.

Alarm clocks are a pain in the butt. No one wants to get up in the morning, or they wouldn't need an alarm clock, would they?  That's why we all have snooze buttons on our alarm clocks, because we need one more chance to be late. Ineffective as snooze alarms are for many, engineer Paul Sammut has created a new version of the alarm clock, one that never shuts up!

With two flash drives shoehorned into a single USB key, the Split Stick reduces the number of drives hanging on our lanyards while keeping personal and professional data conveniently separate.

Lenovo's Youtube channel has unveiled the company's upcoming tablet, loaded with Android 4.0 “Ice Cream Sandwich” and a few other interesting features.

The thumbtack, or 'drawing pin' as it was first named by the British, was invented more than a century ago.  It  is so simply designed, it's hard to think of how it could be improved... unless you happen to stick a few fingers into a box of these pins to try to pick one out just one from the pack. Ouch! 

Good news for all of you who've been sitting on your brilliant inventions! National casting calls have just been announced for the second season of Invention USA which airs on The History Channel.  There are just a few, but important steps, to apply for an interview by the show casting directors and the hosts of Invention USA, Reichart Von Wolfsheild and Garrett Lisi.

Hard drives may be slow and fairly unreliable compared to the newer flash memory, but there are people out there that adore them anyway – and you can bet that those people move small data from computer to computer using one of these shiny little things...
