When you consider that 80 percent of chronic disease, including diabetes, asthma, allergies, headaches, arthritis, heart, lung, and digestive problems are linked to the spine, you or someone you know is likely to benefit from a machine that provides balance and increased circulation to the spine in ways that can't otherwise be obtained - whether it's for prevention of disease or alleviation of current symptoms of disease.

It has been years since I've ridden a bike, other than a stationary fitness bike. I've thought about it a lot, but never really did anything to get back on one. Besides, there aren't many places around where I live to ride a bike without needing to drive several miles to a park. I could risk the busy streets, but I think my bravery flew out the window as soon as I had kids.
Then a few months ago my daughter received a bike as a gift and it got me thinking about how nice it would be to go bike riding with her, even if just at the park. It would give us a chance to bond more and exercise together. read more »

When it comes to a challenge, unless it's illegal or immoral, I'm pretty much willing to accept it.
So, a little over a month ago, after reading my article, featuring the JumpSnap, the jump rope without a rope, Brad LaTour of JumpSnap challenged me to actually give the JumpSnap a try. I was happy to do so and rose to the challenge. After all, what's the worst that could happen? I'd exercise more?
One trial month later, I have to say, it isn't all that bad! But it isn't all that good either. What I mean to say is that I wasn't 100% satisfied. Still, I did see potential in the JumpSnap and believe with a few minor changes I could find myself appreciating this exercise tool and using it on a frequent basis. read more »
For some people, me for example, having nice skin can prove difficult. I can't count the number of times I've been to the doctor for skin related problems. Water and vitamin E help, but they don't solve the problem. It would be nice if something came along that would make taking care of my skin much easier. A few days ago a friend sent me a link to an article about a drink that could help us all have nicer skin.
It turns out that the Coca Cola Company and L'Oreal are pairing up to develop their very own health beverage for health conscious women. It is a health and beauty tea-based ready-to-drink drink that will help us have nicer skin. read more »

It's been six months worth of distractions this time and very little exercise has been a part of my routine, except for the occasional sun salutation in my living room at night. In six months I feel like my body and mind have aged five years and not in a healthy kind of way. So now, I'm desperate and looking for ANYTHING to get me motivated and back in shape again, on a consistent basis. read more »

As Christmas creeps up on us, so does the great spirit of consumerism. This is usually a time when either new a product is released on the ravenous audience or a time to add a simple new function to an existing product. The MP3 player and iPod have gone both routes, but for the sake of this column I'll tell you about a few products that take the evolution of this miniature musical creation even further.

If the last river you saw was on the National Geographic channel, you might need to give this a try. Synthetic products are usually a bad idea. Just think of government cheese or the new basketball being used in the NBA. A good rule would be to stay away from anything containing that notorious “S” word. But the United States National Whitewater Center, located just outside of Charlotte, N.C., is out to change that perception. read more »
