Industrial designer by career though, Tazari has repurposed his military souvenirs into designs for the home. They are now in a one-person installation, called Kaleb, at the Paradigm Design Gallery in Jerusalem.
Swedish sisters Linda and Jona Netsman have a great talent for repurposing old furniture and odds and ends and totally recreating new purposeful items. Their design studio, Leftovers, produces one of a kind furniture and lighting objects that are very emotionally evocative, something that one doesn't find in most furniture or lighting designs. I chose a few of the somewhat creepy ones to share with you.
