Facelift in a Jar : Review of Athena 7-Minute Lift

How many times have you caught a glimpse of someone in a mirror, say in a department store, only to realize a few seconds later that the image was your own?

The other day this happened to me while shopping for my infant neice.. I took a baby dress off the rack and held it out in front of me to peruse, and as I turned toward the light I saw a woman standing across from me holding a dress in much the same way as I was... "Duh," I said to myself. "That's me."

Only this time, it wasn't me looking ten years older, needing a facelift, a makeover, and a good hair cut. I was in my mall duds, disheveled as usual, but this time I looked ten, maybe 15, years younger!

I moved closer to the mirror... It was me, alright. I looked around; no one was paying attention, so I indulged myself a little longer in this public mirror. It was my skin. It was smooth and relaxed. Those "canyons" called frown lines and brow furrows were now simply little lines.

No knives, no lasers, no face sanders.

The product is called Athena 7 Minute Lift? and I've been applying it almost every day for 14 days. And that's nothing according to Greek Island Labs, LLC, it's manufacturer, because this little jewel of a cream is supposed to provide even more youthful results in 30, 60, and 90 days!

It's not really a cream, but a lightweight putty that you mix with a little water and paint on your facial lines. From the first use, when I watched the tiniest of lines around my mouth (and my hubby's laugh lines) disappear before my eyes, the product has been doing everything it promised... reducing "the appearance of sagging skin, lines, and wrinkles without painful, expensive injections, and without dangerous muscle relaxers or harsh chemical ingredients."

In fact, the 7 Minute Lift is made up of natural botanical oils of orange, lemon, grapefruit, sesame, avocado, almond, chamomile, lavender, peppermint, edelweiss, and rose. What harm could it do to your skin?

The product promises a lot, but its results are backed by a well-known independent research lab. You can test it yourself with a "trial size" for 18.00 ($15 is later credited to your purchase of a full size) that comes with a video demonstrating how to apply the cream. Don't freak out, when you watch it. The gal in the video is Mrs. Stepford without the grin, not moving a muscle in her pretty face. She teaches you how to apply the cream and tells you not to smile or make any expressions until seven minutes are over, but she makes you want to laugh. Better watch the video and get the image of out of your mind before you apply your treatment.

After applying Athena 7 Minute Lift, or before and after, you may need a moisturizer that's richer than you previously used. I found the Lift to be quite drying. You may need a richer foundation, but you are advised against oil-based products. Other than that, I found makeup to go on quite smoothly.

I do think the trial size should cost less (it's skimpy), or maybe even be free except for shipping. After all, the product works, so there's a very high likelihood that customers will follow through for an $89.00 2-month supply (including shipping!). If you skip the trial offer and go straight for the jar, you still get 60 days to request a refund if you are not satisfied with the product, so I would opt for the latter.

One thing I did not find perfect was the customer service. Other reviews I read mentioned that the company has real-time on-line chat assistance. If it did, that is no longer operating. You can either email customer service through the website or you can call its toll free number and leave a message. I don't like the message idea. I'm the customer; why should I have to sit around waiting for someone to call me back? As for email, I made two inquiries about a week apart and received no responses.

But the product works very nicely. You can order it from the company's website or eBay (where one cannot pick and choose which testimonials to display). Athena Lift ships fast and free, so you don't have to wait too long to look ten or more years younger. And you don't have to go under the knife!

Let me know how you like the results! Or if you've found a similar product, please share it with our readers in the comments section below.

Thanks for the tip!

Thank you, Babe, for letting us know about Athena. I've been curious to try one of the facelift products, but I didn't know anyone else who had tried one. And it works for men too!

Are you continuing to use this product? If yes, how is its effectiveness over time?

Coniunued Use of Athena

Dear Anon.

Thank you for asking about this... I was planning to write a follow up, but I keep getting called to other projects.

Yes I am continuing use of Athena.  And it does have lasting effects IF you use it every day.  I don't use it every day anymore... I'd say about three or four times a week though.  After awhile, I started to look like Ms. Eyes Wide Open.

I'd say, generally, the more often you use it, the more lasting effect it has... but positive effects can be seen if you just use it under your make-up when out on a special occasion.... definitely for a high-school reunion!

This stuff is absolutely

This stuff is absolutely wonderful! I've spent a lot of money on junk products but this one was worth every penny. I was so excited the first time I used it to actually be able to see an improvement right away, I think my husband just about passed out when he can home from work and saw the new me : )

Athena 7-minute Facelift

It works great.   Best for a special occation.  I do use it everyday but it's losing it's firmness by the end of the workday.  It is amazing how it smoothes out the deep laugh lines I have.  The makeup I use over it may cause it not to last as long.  Plan to try it on a weekend with no makeup to see if it lasts longer.  I had to experiment a few times befor I got it right.  I now wet the brush and stroke the brush from side to side across the deep creases instead of up and down in the crease (that didn't work every well)

Athena 7 minute

I ordered a trail size and tried it at home before I ventured out into public, it was amazing it really works and makes you look great. I was so surprised and happy, I'm going to order more. It just takes a little time getting the right amount but well worth it. The video is very important!! watch carefully.

So Happy

No Results!

I was so excited to try this product but it did little to nothing for my lightly creased skin. I watched the instructional video and followed the directions exactly with no results at all. I repeated the procedure several more times and found that it seemed to do absolutely nothing for my skin. I couldn't even fool myself into thinking it was working. My skin didn't feel tight, toned or look better. I was so amazed after the hype on their website - those before & after pics CAN'T be real. Oh well, I'll continue to search for the fountain of youth but caution everyone out there to save their $89 and wish me luck on getting mine back!

I am not at all happy with this product, i watched the video many times and still find the product rubbish. If you put it under your make up, when you put on your foundation, the product stops working, if you put it over your make up, the product leaves marks and little balls of egg white appear. I do not put too much on, this product is a waste of money and i urge you not to buy it. I am 42 yrs old and have lines that botox cant get rid off, so i think i will opt for Thermage, i have heard this to be a great way to help tighten up your skin. I will try anything once but dislike companies that give out false info to women who just want to keep young for as long as possible. I really do not believe this product is better than botox. For 300.00 you can have your whole face done and will last for 4 months, Athena only works if you do not move your face and you do not add any make up. sorry

I do not like this product and want a refund. It leaves a residue and would rather invest $600 in Juvederme. I'll be writing in here until I get my money back.

I find this product very irritating to my skin and am trying to get a refund but don't know where to mail the product to. I have emailed customer service but that was no help. They quit returning my emails when I said I wanted a refund. I called and left a message but did not get a return phone. Can somebody give me an address to return this product?

Loved it!

One day while filling my car with gas I caught a glimpse of my face in the window. My reflection shocked me, I had no idea that the wrinkles around my eyes were that pronounced. It made me feel like I should be constantly wearing huge dark oversized sunglasses.
Now I am not one to waste money on bottles and jars of empty promises, but after seeing a demonstration of Athenia I had to try this product.
I love it! I could not believe my eyes as the lines under and around my eyes began to disappear. My frown lines were bad enough that my kids were starting to tell me had me looking angry all of the time but a couple of minutes after applying the cream they softened and I no longer had the angy look. It gave me such a boost of self confidence.
I took close up pictures of myself just to make sure that what I was seeing was true and it was. I can look at my reflection in my car window now and feel good about myself.
