There is a new cooking product on the market and it is not made by any
of the typical kitchen gadget companies. In fact, you would probably
never expect this brand to dive into the kitchen, but they did.
Who is it? Nintendo.

They are not on a salary or
salary/incentive basis, paid by their companies to invent; they work
alone, on their own or in small groups, generally in someone's garage or other part of the home. Popular Science recognizes the
accomplishments of these independent inventors yearly in the June issue of its
magazine. Here are the 10 winning inventions...

As an invited guest presenter at Google I/O this week in San Francisco, 6rounds, the Tel Aviv flash-based social
entertainment platform is distinguished as the only Webchat service that

Google I/O opens Wednesday, May 19, 9AM PT/12 ET. Last year, Google took
the tech world by storm in introducing Google
Wave with video presentations that were overwhelming as they were

Zynga,
the number one online game provider on Facebook is threatening to leave
the social network. In a war of wills, Zynga, the popular game
developer of Farmville and Mafia Wars is disputing
Facebook's requirement that Zynga and other game operators use
"Facebook Credits" as the only form of payment going forward, -
providing Facebook a healthy 30 percent tax off of every transaction -
in essence acting as a broker.

Don't be surprised if the Case
of the Missing 4G iPhone doesn't become a Game App in the very
near future. It has all the components of an interactive mystery game
including a large tech company kingpin, the press, a police raid, a
'deep throat' character and a hapless software engineer who doesn't
have a shot in hell of ever becoming Apple's employee of the month any
time soon.

Nintendo's lastest and greatest handheld may just deliver what gamers the world over have wanted for years – stereoscopic 3D. Thats right, folks, 3D with no ungainly glasses or that odd reddish-blue tinge. Apparently using technology originally designed by Sharp, this could be the start of the gaming revolution 3D enthusiasts have been waiting for.

Apple's iPad hasn't been released internationally yet, but that isn't stopping Bandai from releasing iPad versions of classic arcade games like Pac-Man.

James Cameron, the award-winning director of Avatar and Titanic
is banking on 3D Technology moving from the big screen to
smartphones, as smaller screens don't require 3-D glasses. This epiphany
was apparently rooted in economics. While Avatar is historically
one of the highest-grossing movies with over $2.6 billion at the box
office internationally- it also earned the distinction of being one of
the most pirated movies of all times.
