Don't worry folks. At that price, you get the entire pie... not just a slice. Whew! That was a close one. Because there are eight slices to a pie and an $8,000 pizza would just be excessive. Don't you think?
Expensive Pizza The world's most expensive pizza was made by Nino’s Bellissima Pizza (located in New York City). The 12-inch pizza is topped with creme fraiche, chives, eight ounces of four different kinds of Petrossian caviar, four ounces of thinly sliced Maine lobster tail, salmon roe, and a little bit of wasabi to complement all the fish. The pizza is cut into eight... that is a mere $125 for each serving.
I was torn writing this article. I felt like I was betraying a close friend. Pizza. Yummy. Who doesn't like pizza? At the same time, I was a little disgusted by the fact that they did this to a pizza (oh... and by the the price too). Growing up in New York, I've eaten a lot of great pizza. I don't think that you can even call this a pizza. Besides the crust, there is nothing else in common with the classic pizza I love.
What would you do or pay for an amazing pizza?

The Pizza LOOKS good
but it doesn't SOUND very good. I also wouldn't pay that much for one pizza--maybe $998.50, but not $1,000.

As an ex-NJersian living in Vermont, I would pay $1K for ONE SLICE of authentic Jersey Shore right now. Three Brothers Pizzeria on the boardwalk in particular.
After eating your next slice, please check out my invention at Bottle Sling - Invention Gallery .

Well, I have driven 4 hours for a amazing pizza. I think Connecticut has the worls' best pizza in New Haven. Oh, my god..
Super crisp and light, with a charred smokey taste that is out of this world.
I don't know if I wouls pay $1000 for that, but I'd wait in line for an hour.

Me, if I had the money, I
Me, if I had the money, I would try it. I mean, it looks pretty good and if I was Trump, I could spend it on some stupid wine or a really great pizza, I'd pick the pizza every time.

That's an excellent point
That's an excellent point about the price. Everyone knows you should always price something to end in 99 (why do you think those $.99 stores are so hot). So if they priced it at $999, it would probably sell like hot cakes.
