What do you get when you cross a willful, stubborn, potty-training toddler with baggy, saggy jeans?
Truthfully, I don't want to know. But thanks to sister inventors Talia Bahr Goldfarb and Danielle Bahr Eason, kids now have a simple way to keep their pants above their knees. Their solution? Myself Belts. These innovative belts snap around the first belt loop (so it remains attached at all times). After sliding the belt through the rest of the loops, the child simply secures the end with the Velco closure. This design allows little ones to pull and tighten one-handed without the belt coming out of the loops, and without any tricky buckles to manage. read more »
When it comes to a challenge, unless it's illegal or immoral, I'm pretty much willing to accept it.
So, a little over a month ago, after reading my article, featuring the JumpSnap, the jump rope without a rope, Brad LaTour of JumpSnap challenged me to actually give the JumpSnap a try. I was happy to do so and rose to the challenge. After all, what's the worst that could happen? I'd exercise more?
One trial month later, I have to say, it isn't all that bad! But it isn't all that good either. What I mean to say is that I wasn't 100% satisfied. When I look at this pillbox, I think, "Wow. A person has to have every disease under the sun to need all these pills!" (There are four more compartments on the right side of the box!)
This fancy pillbox is not, you understand, for a week's worth of pills. No, this pillbox, with its fancy electronic reminder system, is for one day's worth of pills, and it tells you when to take them. read more »
Remember Wake-Up Juice from Back to the Future III? (View a clip on YouTube here .) It was a concoction of flaming sauces that jolted Professor Brown’s body to immediate alertness after a night of whiskey sloshing. Today, dozens of energy drinks and pills flood the market claiming to keep your body jazzed up with hours of unlimited energy, but most of them have annoying side effects (rapid heartbeat, shakes), or lead to addiction (hello, coffee!). But what if there was something that kept you awake without the consequences of traditional stimulants?

For some people, me for example, having nice skin can prove difficult. I can't count the number of times I've been to the doctor for skin related problems. Water and vitamin E help, but they don't solve the problem. It would be nice if something came along that would make taking care of my skin much easier. A few days ago a friend sent me a link to an article about a drink that could help us all have nicer skin.
It turns out that the Coca Cola Company and L'Oreal are pairing up to develop their very own health beverage for health conscious women. It is a health and beauty tea-based ready-to-drink drink that will help us have nicer skin. read more »
