Back in September, I wrote an article called "Coolest Combo: Phone and Video Baby Monitor - HotSpotMama Find". I really loved this product when I found. I still love it - so much that I decided to repeat myself.

Holidays are coming up fast. This has got to be one of the best presents for new parents. I was walking through two of large baby stores today and came to a realization, this is still a brilliant product There is nothing else out there that's similar. Here's my article from September:

Looking for a great video baby monitor?

When I had my first baby (who is now 5 years old), we bought a video baby monitor. We thought it was the coolest thing that we could watch our child while he was sleeping without him seeing us. The problem was that it was too big and a bit too bright. The screen had to be about four inches wide. So when we went to bed and left the monitor on (yes, like a typical first time mom), it pretty much lit up our entire room. Also, it was a huge eyesore on my dresser. TrioBike has come up with a three in one carrier bike. Its a regular bicycle, a carrier bike and a stroller.

Imagine taking your two kids for a bike ride in bike that has a stroller that attaches to it. After your done with your bike ride (because its pretty exhausting biking up a hill with two kids), you detach the stroller from the bike and then just push the stroller. Or maybe, you'll drop the kids off with your husband and finish that bike ride by your self, so you detach the stroller and continue biking with just the bike. Pretty cool huh? Inflatable Haunted HouseI love Halloween. Seriously, as a kid, what is better than knocking at someone's door and having someone hand you candy. When my oldest son was two years old, he got the hang of trick-or-treating a little too quickly. I love the decorations too. I came across this inflatable haunted house that looks like a giant playhouse. Its better than all those other inflatables they have out for Halloween because it does more than just sits there looking spooky. You can walk (or run) through it.

It finally feels like its fall in the Northeast. I'm seeing leaves fall and kids starting to cough. I thought of this article I wrote back during the summer and thought it was very appropriate right now. Hope it makes your winter a little easier. Here it is. ..

If candy wasn’t so bad for my kids, I would let them consume it 24/7. Nothing seems to quiet a whinning child as quickly and effectively as candy. Now imagine your child sick at home and whinning and having the amazing ability to say, “Hey, I’ve got a great idea, why don’t you have a lollipop?” Your child will look at you with questioning eyes. Twilight Turtle

When I was growing up, I had the traditional night light. It had one of those tiny bulbs with a plastic cover that only covered the front half of the bulb. I guess that was so a child couldn't touch the bulb directly. Too bad any one year child could pop the cover off. Today, companies appear to have taken night lights to the next level along with everything else out there for kids.

I AM A WUSSY

Trolling around the net late last night, I finally found something that made things crystal clear for me.

We men like being men and feeling like men.

The thing that my woman could do to really piss me off would be to make me feel like a wussy.

It's bad enough my lady asks me to hold her purse and to sit in the shoe department like a castrated bull for hours on end, but that's within the boundaries of many totally whipped men. It is not unusual to see several of us miserable men huddled together in a corner creating a false sense of male bonding by shooting the breeze about the latest basketball or football game. read more »

Seat ChillerWhen its hot and humid and hitting record highs, what's the first thing you think of? Finding something to cool you down. A nice body sized ice pack sounds good.

Well dealing with the heat is much worse when you have young kids with you. On a hot summer day, you know you're going to hear whinning. Especially when you put the kids into a car. Its almost always 10 degrees hotter in the car. It would be great for their car seats to be nice and cool when they get into it. My prayers have been answered by a company called Kooler Kidz.

I was sitting at a restaurant the other day, watching a mom and a dad arguing with their little girl about whether the dad should take a new job. ... It's clear that the parents had lost control of their obnoxious daughter, but I also thought it clear that they had also lost control of their senses.

This incident got me wondering about whether we have gone too far in spoiling our children. We let them make decisions they should not make, do things they should not be doing and buy junk they should not have. I think some of us may spoil our children too much, and in that way fail our kids as parents.

ISwiss Strolli 1 was looking on the internet when I came this stroller accessory. Essentially, it is an attachable tricycle. You can attach the tricycle to the stoller (stroller is not included). Just wanted to restate it because it took me by surprise the first time I saw it. Let me describe the product to you and then I’ll let you know my opinion.
