Great Idea
That truly a great idea. Maybe you could make a spin off that would go off alarm clocks too.

There are smoke alarm that do that already
Some smoke alarm kit already come with a spot light that turn on when the alarm goes off. Still a reasonably good idea, family with children may want to change their traditional switches to this one for peace of mind. Then again how do prevent kids from starting to scream at the switches becouse they know it will turn the light on? that will get frustrating really quickly ;-)

Work with firefighters and politicians
You need to get this mandated in the building code just like smoke alarms are mandated. Then you don't need to bother marketing the device any longer.

can u also make it so when it hears a breaking glass or if someone is trying 2 break down your door? so i could use it also as a anti theif device. thanku let me know when u do this and then i will buy one. daveanne@shaw.ca
