A round beach towel that easily converts into a carry bag with a pull of a drawstring. It's a round beach towel/blanket. It quickly and easily converts from a towel to a bag thanks to the ingenious but simple drawstring woven at the perimeter. With a quick pull of the cords... zip... you have a beach bag to carry all your stuff in. One side is nylon, to wick away sand and water. The other side is terry... oh so cozy. And it's round, which means you don't have to turn your towel as the sun moves. And... it's cool! Once pulled closed, it can be thrown over the shoulder or worn back backstyle.

Sand
Just wondering... well, i thought that one of the good things about having a normal blankt at the beachwas that you could shake the sand off when you went home, i think that this is a lovely idea, but when you get home and you open up your nifty bag, wouldnt sand pour out?? i can understand that you have a side that keeps away sand and water but at the beach anything sould happe, including your baby digging up sand and piling it ontop of the blanket...

good one... clever, fun,
good one... clever, fun, simple...
couldsee that selling big with localized graphics or license.
Wider shoulder straps would be nice for that 1,000 pounds of baby gear people need at the beach .

Inventor/marketer
I was working on this idea back in 1993 but did not follow through. It is a wonderful concept for beach-goers and boaters alike. I would like to discuss a business opportunity with you.

I believe that sand could
I believe that sand could very well be an issue as mentioned above. This is still a great idea though. Also, I think this could work very well as a picnic blanket.

I recommend that this could be used for Lego. Would make many mums happy!

I've made these for years
I have made quite a few of these except I use them as toy bags and laundry bags. Much easier to get kids to pick up toys if all they have to do is shove them onto a large flat circle and pull the string!

Great idea, the sand should ot be an issue
When you get to the parking lot take the toys otu and shake everything off including the towel, put it in your trunk and you are ready for the beach once again.Or get home just lay the beach towel out on the grass or driveway, shake the sand out of everything and then store the toys for the next trip to the beach.
