It's been awhile since I posted a Slightly Twisted posting. Loyal fans will recall that I find some of the products on the web that leave me a bit speechless.
I am asking for your help in trying to figure out something funny, witty or profound to say about it.
My pick of the Slightly Twisted wacky product of the week is a quite realistic looking Gun Shaped Hair Dryer.
Well, this 1000 watt power Hair Gun has three drying settings: low, high and cold air. What you do is pull the trigger to blow the air out. The Hair Gun comes comes in green, blue, purple and pink and is available at BathroomGraffiti.com.
So, what do you think? I am trying to pick something that does not have to do with farts and crap. Is this a lame pick for Slightly Twisted wacky product of the week? Or do you like it?

Submitted on May 20th, 2007 by Anonymous N. Aray (not verified)No product should be made to resemble--or look exactly like--a gun. Girls will want to try carrying this in their purses and try putting them in their gym lockers, etc.--exactly what we don't need/want.
Boys might also get a kick out of carrying these around in their pants, books bags, etc.
IF we liked in a sane society, the product would be "neat". However, considering the type of society we do live in, THIS HAIR DRYER IS GOING TO GET SOMEONE BURNED.

I Don't Use A Blowdryer
Submitted on May 20th, 2007 by Anonymous Max Wellhouse (not verified)As I always tell everyone (and they can tell by looking), I drip dry my hair in the summer and freeze dry it in the winter.
But I just thought of which manufacturer is probably behind the gun-shaped blow dryer: CON-AIR.
PS Is it just for me, or does everyone have to answer TWO math questions in order to post a comment? The first time it is answered (and correctly) but then a wrong message appears along with a different math problem. (Is that why they are called math problems?)

This reminded me...
Submitted on May 23rd, 2007 by Zbelljegger (not verified)of a single-panel cartoon I saw years ago: a husband and wife are standing in the bathroom. She has just washed her hair and is drying it with a towel, which is covering her head and face. She is saying "Don't just stand there, moron, hand me the blow dryer." With an evil grin on his face, he is handing her a pistol.

In general-
Submitted on January 27th, 2008 by mario83092 (not verified)It's an excellent product to be featured on this topic, and I definitely think the poster made a wise decision for this. Haha, I can't remember the last time I've seen something this unique.
And to the opposer "N. Aray", you have to be kidding me. I think anyone with the lack of mental capacity to know you don't carry an enormous blowdryer in your waistline to "pop a cap", per say, deserves the fate they would get. Not only that, but I think it would be the parents' fault, for allowing their mentally challenged kids around anything sharper than crayons. The same as you don't give an infant a toaster for a bath toy, you don't give a retard a blowdryer, who might hijack the drool wagon, for all we know.
If we live in a society today where a humorous piece of purely satirical fun would be considered unacceptable, than why do we show blockbuster massacre movies on primetime tv? It should be all or nothing, for the cause, not the profit.
Regardless of melodramatic protesters, I think this is an excellent piece. =]
Selah.
PS- I am clinically mathematically challenged and I find this verification code to be offensive and biased towards a supreme intelligence Mensa division of society, and politically incorrect for those of lesser mental capacity. I'm going to change my name to N. Aray and whine. =]

Read my reply to this, "In general-" at the top. Mkay, thanks. =]

Submitted on March 31st, 2008 by AnonymousThis reminds me of the hairdryer that my fathers barber used. He had a carousel horse set up in the corner for all of his children clients. They got to put on a vest painted protector, and he used a hair dryer shaped like a Colt to dry when they were done. Not a new idea, this one has been around since the 1970's
Sorry
Kinda cool
Submitted on April 20th, 2008 by AnonymousI think it's funny.
I guess I can see why some people find it a little odd. Pointing something at your head that resembles a gun but I think it's just supposed to be funny. LOL
So wadda ya want from me? Oy......
