Sony PS2 SingStar Limited Edition Bundle Should be a Hit

It's amazing that Sony Playstation 2 is still relatively popular after seven years of production plus the fact that during that time the PS3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wii were all released. As a matter of fact, the PS2 is the number one selling gaming console ever. Sony has sold over 120 million units since it was introduced in the fall of 2000. The PS2 is still going strong in 2007 with sales of 30 million units in the first 3 quarters of the year alone. I have to say that I'm a bit partial to the PS2, because I still have one (mainly because it is such a great value compared with the other gaming consoles).

What keeps the PS2 so fresh is the design and marketing department at Sony. Starting November 4, Sony will introduce to the World their newest example of their great marketing with the Sony PS2 SingStar Limited Edition Bundle. Sony expects this special edition PS2 to fly off the shelves for this holiday season, so get yours as early as possible.

The SingStar bundle features a ceramic white PS2 console, SingStar game, controller, two microphones, and all necessary connectors. For those who don't know what SingStar is, it's a game that is a lot like American Idol; a karaoke game. It's a great game to play when the family is over for the holidays!

The retail price of the PS2 SingStar Limited Edition Pack is $149.

"Playstation 2 is still relatively popular"

What do you mean 'relatively popular'? Its the second biggest selling console worldwide this year behind only the Wii. Its still outselling the 360 in Japan and Europe even with Halo 3 having recently been released.

"during that time the PS3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wii were all released."

And the Nintendo Gamecube and Microsoft Xbox.
