With Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) topping the charts as one of the biggest fears of new parents, the Guardian Sleeper is a welcomed new invention by two mothers looking for a solution. After doing some research through the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, Carol Betz and Nicola Pieter developed the specialized blanket that swaddles children into sleepy submission.

Have a colicky baby? This product actually increases sleep duration, by keeping children warm and comforted in the Institute’s most recommended sleeping position for young babies. As many infants grow cold or too warm in their sleep, the risk of a blanket shifting and blocking their airway is a scary reality. The swaddling Guardian Sleeper prevents this and reduces risk of terrifying incidents such as SIDS.
For around $40, you can purchase a Guardian Sleeper in a variety of colors and sizes, and all are designed for babies under 9 months old. Compared to a car seat for a crib, the Guardian Sleeper is recently patented and is being sold on many websites and in specialty boutiques.

Moms all over the country are marveling at the innovative creation and asking each other, why didn’t anyone think of this before? Babies sleep peacefully inside of the Guardian Sleeper, and now moms rest easier as well, knowing their little ones are safe and sound.
