There are some things we just don't want to talk about, and condoms are one of them. Instead of looking at this as a problem, condom companies are taking advantage of our discomfort with condoms and using this to create some very entertaining advertising.
Here are ten of the most creative and entertaining condom ads from recent advertising campaigns:
These Durex condom ads were strategically placed in toll gates so that people would have to push into images of strategically placed women's rear ends to enter the subway station.

Submitted on January 16th, 2008 by MichelleI personally laughed at the XXl. It's so ridiculous but it does make it's point.
Awesome
Submitted on January 18th, 2008 by Kevin (not verified)I've personally seen #5 done, though it was on the sidewalks of New York and not Belgium, at the time they were advertising their new ribbed condom. I've heard that the "Happy Father's Day" ad is just an urban legend and something somebody photoshopped, not an actual ad campaign. Either way I think it's pretty clever.

I for impact
S for strength...
Two adults (male and female) in the mood, after some fore play, just as he is about taking off his pants, she offers him a condom; but he shakes his head; she gives him a questioning look, he smiles and brings out “is” brand of condom. The scene changes to a man on a baseball field, wears a condom for his bat, he is thrown a ball; he hits it with such impact, that the ball flies up and out of site.
The may scene may change back or not; to show the woman with a satisfied look on her face...(she is smiling softly)
A voice then says “is” a real mans condom...I for impact and S for strength...
What do you think?

Submitted on June 20th, 2008 by AnonymousI personally feel that we should push for more condom advertising in the US that promotes safe sex. If adolescents are more exposed to safe sex practices, it will become a natural practice. If you speak to anyone in Europe about sex, they are well-educated about the subject and the underage pregnancy and STD outbreaks are significantly lower than the US. We do our young people a disservice by refusing to talk to them about these issues. The truth is that adolescents are having sex, unsafe sex, at earlier ages, and contracting STDs. Maybe it is time to rethink the whole abstinence approach.
