Designed for pet owners who live in apartments, The Pet Loo is made from materials which are resistant to the acidity of urine and the accompanying smell. This ensures a long-lasting and hygienic product and allows pet owners, and primarily dog owners, to leave their pets in their apartment without the worry of any potential toileting ‘accidents’. I was in need of a permanent, hygienic solution to the problem and the idea of The Pet Loo was born.” Simone continued: ”Although using The Pet Loo means your dog can be left for longer periods without worrying, it’s not an excuse to stop walking your pet – it’s purely for the in-between times when you may not be around to take your pet for its usual walks.”Originally developed in Australia, The Pet Loo has been the recipient of a number of prestigious pet product awards. Measuring 83cm x 83cm with a height of 14cm, it weighs 6kg and can hold up to 300kg, while it’s smaller brother “MINI Wee” measures in a 63cm x 63cm and only weighs 4kg – The Pet Loo solution is suitable for all sizes of pets.Underneath the top quality synthetic grass, a slightly angled, corrugated base that helps direct urine into a catchment jug which holds approximately 1liter of liquid and is positioned to ensure the urine is filtered evenly and spillage is avoided. The Pet Loo is also easy to clean by simply removing the grass and using a cloth and hot water to sponge down the base. Cleaning products (especially those containing citrus) may repel the dog. The synthetic grass is cleaned by rinsing it with warm water while on the base, or it can be removed and hosed down (in the shower if necessary).
