Make Assumptions
If you make the assumption that the person receiving the gift is going to like it, it is not necessarity to capture the person's expression as s/he opens it. On the other hand, if the person does NOT like the gift, the video will capture the negative--or not quite positive--reaction. Who would want a video of this???????
Perhaps a video of the person taking the jewelry to the pawn shop would be more interesting.
