Remember typewriters? I barely do. I remember playing with one way back when and even then it was already considered old and useless.
Lovely, as the sounds were that came from pushing buttons and hearing the stop bell ring on an old typewriter, there is no denying that when computers came along typewriters just couldn't compare to computers. Since there was no more need for them typewriters were simply discarded. Fortunately Jeremy Mayer came a long and created a way to rescue some of them from the landfill.

There isn't much too say about this next green innovator, Designer Gerard Brion, except that he is passionate about his artwork. He is very passionate. In fact, with regular household items, some glue and paint Gerard Brion has spent 15 years of his life creating a detailed replica of Paris.

In 2008, solar power seems to be the hot topic for alternative fuel use. Solar powered products are already coming down in price so that the average consumer can take it home and use it, but now scientist are turning to the moon as well as the sun for power. Could the moon fuel our future?

As we have learned in the, past human hair can be recycled and used to make many creative things such as art and even clothes, but did you know it could also be used to clean up oil spills? It's true.

Is it me or does it seem there are more bicyclists and motorcyclists on the road these days?
I don't blame people if they are switching to cheaper means of transportations when considering the price of gasoline today. Still there something I wish to say to many of two wheel riders on the road today, "Put on your $^%@*^&! helmet. Please!" Forget the bad hair. Helmets save lives. Enough preaching though, check this out. There is an innovative eco-friendly helmet for riders to wear made of bamboo, called the Roof R06 Helmet.

Last year, in collaboration with the Museum of Applied Arts solar powered streetlamps, resembling trees, designed by Welsh designer Ross Lovegrove were introduced in Vienna. The reaction to them was positive so Ross Lovegrove is taking it to the next step. He is now working on improving his design with his next generation of solar trees called "Adaptive Solar Tree".
