Are you a stellar mobile app innovator who needs a good excuse to show off your work? Any sort of mobile app can be thrown into the running, as long as it’s excellent!
Listen up, mobile developers! Developerforce’s 2013 Mobile Dev Challenge is an extremely open ended search to reward the best mobile trendsetters out there with $10,000, $5,000 and $1,000 American Express gift cards for the first, second and third place winners. Mobile development companies and individual contestants (You must be at least 18 years old to enter!), must reside in the United States, Japan, United Kingdom, India or Canada. (For some reason Quebec residents are barred from entering!)
You’ll need to develop a fresh mobile app for the contest and register an account with Salesforce.com to submit your entry. At the very least, your presentation needs to include a title for your mobile app, a web hosted 2-minute demo video of the app in action and a GitHub link containing the mobile app’s source files.
The judges will be looking for fully functional, easy to use and original mobile apps to present the big prizes to, so developers will need to think outside of the box for this one. Don’t forget, the 2013 Mobile Dev Challenge is open to any sort of high-quality mobile apps!
