Dean McDermott Search For Innovations for Dad Chefs
‘Gourmet Dad’ Dean McDermott has paired with invention search site Edison Nation to find the best new gadget for dads in the kitchen. You don’t have to be a Dad to submit your gadget invention, just a really sharp innovator who knows what gadget a gourmet dad would find appealing for his role as favorite chef to his family.
Like other Edison Nation run inventor competitions, the Dean McDermott search calls for on-line submission of your idea including sketches and/or photos and a written description of your idea, as well as a simple 2-minute video demonstrating, preferably with a prototype, your product in action.
Because ideas must be unique and protectable, it is advisable that you have a patent or patent pending; even if you have a preliminary patent application filed, it would be beneficial just to protect your idea. See our Invention Guide for related information.
