Apple is now officially in the drug business approving a new $2.99 iPhone app under the moniker "Cannibis Locator App." Yes, it’s the year 2009, and "we’ve come a long way baby"... from the righteous denouncing a substance that was capable of corrupting our very souls. Anyone remember "Reefer Madness" and its classic 1936 anti-marijuana propaganda messaging?
So if you have been approved to legally purchase the drug,your handy-dandy-all-purpose weed app will act as a GPS in directing you to the cooperatives, doctors, clinics, attorneys, organizations, and other patient services in states that have approved medical marijuana (cannabis) legislation.
Cannabis Apps developer Ajnag.com uses directories managed by iMedicalCannabis and the Patient ID Center. According to the developer, for each purchase of the Cannabis app, $.50 will be donated to a cannabis non-profit reform fund that will be setup once the application reaches 1000 subscriptions.
So, no more borders-crossings, no more basement plant gardens. Now, all you have to do to secure your next joint is convince your doctor you are sick enough to take a toke!
