Edgar Mueller is an artist that creates way more than your ordinary sidewalk art.
Edgar’s fascination with painting started when he was a child, competing in many competitions while in his teens. He now holds the title of ‘Maestro Madonnari’, which means ‘Master Street Painter’. That title was given to him at The Grazie Festival, which is the largest street painting festival and held in Italy.

Inspired by other 3D street artists like Julian Beever and Kurt Wenner, Edgar is always looking for new ways to express himself.
In his Ice Age piece of work, Edgar completed the whole thing in five days. Painting all day long – from sunrise to sunset – he, along with his five assistants, managed to finish this 250 square meter long painting.

I love street paintings, especially this artist’s work. If I came upon one of these scenes, I’d probably think the world was ending and seize the opportunity to make a fool of myself by standing there dumbfounded. Eventually I’d come out of it and want to pose for a photograph in one of them.
