year for the holidays in was Bauble Beards. It is amazing what gents out
there will do with their facial hair just for the hell of it. So this
year, just in time for the holidays, we bring you the latest trend in
this series — The Glitter Beard. Instructions on how are included!

It is handy that this trend is showing up toward the end of this month since with No-Shave November, or Movember, there is an awful lot of extra facial hair around right now. So why not have some fun with it while you can? These photos are a lot of fun — but I found this one the most shocking!

Why would I find this shocking? Because that looks exactly like my nephew Ben. I mean exactly. Same beard — minus the glitter, same hair line — or lack thereof, the same snapping brown eyes, and even the same kind of facial expression when taking a selfie. I could even see him doing something like this just for the heck of it. Wait a minute! Ben? Is that you?
The Gay Beards
The Gay Beards are a couple of gay guys who have made quite the internet following by getting creative with the stuff they can stick in their beards. They are even turning it into a business by selling prints of themselves decorated with their fanciful beards. For all you bearded gents out there Brian and Jonathan even created a how to video for a glitter beard. It is "gliterally" hilarious:
Just what Christmas needs — more glitter! While some men are happily sporting their tinsel facial tresses, there are some drawbacks. For one thing glitter goes everywhere. And that includes your eyes, nose, mouth, ears, and every other nook and cranny on and in your body. This also includes everywhere you go throughout your home, friend’s homes, the city, the world. It is apparently the way glitter is engaged in world conquest. It is even harder to vacuum up than kitty litter.

Some guys even take it one step further and include their eyebrows. Now that you have been educated on how to and warned about the downside, go for the gold, or red, or green, or . . . well, you get the idea.
