Tomorrow is the first day of the Electronic Entertainment Expo, or E3, and the big names in videogames will be presenting their latest consoles and software in full force. Lucky for you, I’ve got a cheat sheet for when and where you can watch the action live!
E3 is the videogame enthusiast’s Christmas, where everyone learns about the impending wave of games across all platforms. This year, the trade event will be held from June 11th through the 13th at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Even though E3 is closed to the general public, many of the larger videogame publishers hold live press conferences for their fans to enjoy from the comfort of home. If you’re interested in getting a look at what’s next for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, Nintendo Wii U, PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Nintendo 3DS, and beyond, read through the live event dates below to clear your schedule accordingly:
Monday, June 10th
Microsoft – 9am PDT
EA Press Conference – 12:20pm PDT
Ubisoft Press Conference – 2:40pm PDT
Sony Press Conference – 5:20pm PDT
Nintendo will unveil the new Wii U Smash Bros. game during E3.
Note that Nintendo has opted to showcase their latest offerings differently this year, by having a smaller presence and demoing their games at select Best Buy locations across the United States. I’m sure that you’ve already figured out the time to plunk down in your favorite chair to watch the pressers alongside your favorite comfort food, but don’t forget that you can watch all of the press conferences live at the Gamespot/E3 website here.
