The JetBib Helps Give Baby Food A Smooth Landing

2 Min Read

Feeding a baby is a messy job, but somebody has to do it. Not only are babies squirmy and easily distracted, but their food is so goopy and staining. You know the scenario – all looks good, your baby is looking right at you with a wide open smile perfect for popping in a mouthful of food. Then, at the last second, the cat walks by and you get just cheek and a bit of nose. Then there are the dreaded food sneezes which leave both the baby and the parent looking like they were caught in some sort of horrible explosion.

Well, there is not much that can be done about those unpredictable sneezes, but rather than wear a wetsuit next time you are feeding your little one you may want to try the JetBib Feeding System. The adorable bib and spoon set was designed by some of the people at ThinkGeek and is an innovative way to grab baby’s attention at mealtime. The airplane spoon has flashing LED lights to catch and hold a baby’s attention. The bib includes a landing strip with LEDs that flash when the baby moves around, lighting up the runway.

The creators have even made it easy to clean up. Each set comes with three spoon attachments for the plane. The spoon portion can be run through the dishwasher. The plane and bib are made to be wiped down with a damp cloth.

Clear the runway! It’s time to eat.

EDITOR’S UPDATE: This spoon set is no longer available. Other fun baby plane set are here, here and here.
