If you have acne prone skin you know the agony of looking forward to an event, planning out everything from your hair to your outfit to your shoes, only to wake up the morning of with an enormous, festering zit. Be it a wedding, a first date, a job interview or any other important happening in your life, those pimples don’t want to miss out on the fun; they always make an appearance at the worst possible moment. No matter the situation, acne is a major confidence killer and a huge pain to deal with.
There are a ton of creams and washes on the market that claim to combat acne. Some work; some don’t, but they are all kind of a hassle to use. They usually involve a multi-step process and you wind up with dry, red skin that often has a chemically smell to it. Now Nexcare has come up with a new kind of acne product that looks to be a lot simpler.
Nexcare Acne Absorbing Covers apparently do just as their name implies. They are small patches that you place over pimples. They reportedly act like a sponge, soaking up the pimple contents (pus and oil) and leaving you with a smoother complexion. Also, due to the fact that they are drug free, they are supposed to be non-drying. You can see the patch absorbing the secretions and once it changes to a white color it is time to remove it and apply another one, if needed. Supposedly you can even apply makeup over top of the patches. I think I would just opt to wear them while sleeping, but I’m dying to try them out and see how they work.
