Micro-current sessions are quite popular among anti-aging spa skin treatments. They can be very pricey though, so it is often just the rich and/or famous who have the means to get the treatments done on a regular basis. NuFACE offers micro-current facial toning in the privacy of your own home. The makers say that the process is quite simple. Users must first apply the conductivity gel to the area to be treated. Then the device is run over the area and finally the gel is wiped off and an optimizing mist is applied (along with your usual moisturizer).
It is recommended that users do the treatment (5-20 min. at a time) five days a week for the first 90 days and then twice a week after that to maintain the results. The system is meant to firm and tone up the face. On the website they compare it to, “having your very own Pilates trainer for your face.” The results are said to be immediate, so I guess you wouldn’t have to wait long to see if it was working for you.
