Sheesh! Kabobs Anytime In The Microwave?

2 Min Read

There is nothing like a good kabob to make a special meal. Usually you
do this only when you are going to do some grilling. For most of us that
limits making kabobs to the summer months and sometimes you’d just like
to have them year round. Well, with a Lekue Kabob Cooker you can make
them anytime in the microwave.

Instead of being grilled with this cool gadget the kabobs are steamed. This makes sure that you keep more of the nutrition in your vegetables. I would probably sear my meat a bit first, but that is just me. You won’t get that great grilled flavor with this either, but the cooker comes with a recipe book to help you come up with some awesome ways to prepare your kabobs.

The cooker will make up to 8 kabobs all at once so that you can feed everybody in the family and still have leftovers for the next day. It also has a clean, modern look so that it can go straight from microwave to the table for serving. You can use your choice of meat — beef, chicken, shrimp, pork, or whatever — and alternate with veggies. Not all veggies are really suitable to kabobs. Poking a green bean onto that skewer might be a little dicey, for example.

While you might want one of these cookers for yourself, it also makes a great and unique gift for Christmas, birthdays, weddings, and anniversaries — especially for your favorite foodies who also like to play with kitchen gadgets.
