As a writer I like to carry a notebook wherever I go — just in case
inspiration strikes. No matter how hard I try things get out of order
and it is hard to keep them straight. I assume this happens to others
because the Rekonect Notebook is coming. It has magnetic pages so that
you can take them out and rearrange them without the bulk of being a
ring binder.

With this journal the magnet is in the spine and there is a rim of metallic paint on the pages. It has a hard cover of faux leather and there is a strip of high-quality elastic to help keep it closed when not in use. You can also choose from plain, lined, dotted, or graph paper. If you aren’t sure which one you want, you can get the plain paper and print which one you need from a PDF file.

Additional features: The magnetic spine also allows it to become a pen holder when it has a metal clip on the pen. This is also a great notebook for lefties since they can write in it without the binding getting in the way. In fact, you can take a page out, write on it, and then put it back in the book. If there is a page you wish to copy you can take it out, copy it, and, yep, put it right back.
In case you were wondering, the magnet is safe around most of today’s electronic and magnetic media devices. Though, just to be safe, I would keep credit and debit cards away from it.

The one problem with this product? At the moment you can’t run down to the store to buy it. The Rekonect team is currently seeking funding on Kickstarter. Not to worry though, with 22 days still to go on their campaign they have already raised just over twice their goal. The Rekonect is soon to be a reality and I, for one, am ready to go shopping!
