So, let’s just say you have a bag of potatoes, a bucket, some water, a drill, and a toilet brush. Hmmmm… what to do, what to do? Um… do this: Attach the toilet brush to a long drill bit, then go to town on the bucket of potatoes.
This is a unique innovation that I wish I had thought of when I worked
in a school kitchen and had to peel enough potatoes to feed 350 kids.
I’m not sure if this device would pass a health inspection, but I’d use it as long as I could before getting a slap on the wrist. Seriously, I put the task of peeling potatoes by hand right next to the fun of a colonoscopy; really not high on my list of things to do.
I think this is quite a brilliant innovation and something, that if marketed properly, could go places. Sure, it may need a couple of tweaks to make it safe for professional (and home) kitchen use, but this is a good start.
I know I’d buy one.
